More About
Meet Nv EVOv2, the new & improved formula over the much loved Nv NOVA EVO, with enhancements to gloss and saturation, chemical resistance and an overall boost to user experience, making this one of the best applications on the market.
Years of development with rigorous testing, application trials and chemical abuse has led to the final product that is EVOv2, giving you a semi-professional grade coating without the need of a certificate.
Nv EVOv2 coating makes surface contamination struggle to adhere to the paint therefore allowing the vehicle to stay much cleaner for longer. The hydrophobic effect of EVOv2 is ground-breaking, the water sheets & beads off the surface at an incredible rate, helping release and clean the coating, which makes maintenance extremely easy.
EVOv2 also uses the same active ingredients found in Nv NOVA Pro, helping bridge the gap between consumer & professional grade coatings, giving you an option that can take your vehicle to the next level of protection.
EVOv2 isn't just a paint protective solution, the coating creates a fantastic reflective layer than visually transforms the paintwork. Shades of grey become darker, colours become more vibrant and metallic & pearls are enhanced and become more prominent.
Apply Nv EVOv2 with the following directions
- Ensure the surface is decontaminated, cleaned and polished.
- Wipe down the surface with Nv Clarify.
- Apply a line of drops on a suede microfiber applicator. Wipe onto the surface in straight even lines, horizontally and vertically (Try not to work in larger areas, break each panel into sections no bigger than 50x50cm).
- The flash times will vary, on hot humid days it could flash as quickly as 30 seconds, and on cold days it could take up to 8-10 minutes. You can test the wipe off by wiping a small corner or section to see if it wipes off easily, or smears. If it's smearing, then it hasn't flashed yet.
- If it wipes off with little to no resistance, then its time to wipe off the excess coating from the panel.
Wipe off = Tacky, difficulty wiping down - Exceeded recommended cure time.
Wipe off - Smeary - Insufficient cure time.
Layering
If long-term durability is desired from EVOv2 ceramic coating, it’s advisable to apply a second layer between 45 mins - 3 hours after completing the first layer depending on the climate.
When applying two layers in much hotter and humid climates, we advise coating only half the vehicle at a time and then immediately applying the second layer over the same half of the vehicle before repeating the process to the second half of the car due to curing time restrictions.
Although in regular weather conditions 90 mins to 2 hours should be fine for a second coating. In colder climates, the second layer should be applied approximately 3 hours later.
It’s advised to wait at least 1-2 weeks (depending on the climate) before using any detergents or chemicals to wash the vehicle after coating it.
To maintain the peak performance of the coating, we recommend using pure and non-additive car soaps such as Nv SNOW for future maintenance washes. Nv SNOW+ can be used periodically in 3 to 6 month intervals to deep clean the coating as needed based on the environment and contamination. Iron removal and water spot chemicals can also be used periodically as needed to remove fallout and water spots from the coating.
Nv BoostV2 can be applied over EVOv2 after 24 hours if the vehicle doesn’t have undercover parking to help protect the coating while it fully cures and can be additionally used after each wash and even as a drying aid to provide a sacrificial layer of protection.
More durable topcoat sealants such as Nv JET or Nv LUSTRE can be used every few months to increase the coating's durability and performance over the years but should not be applied until the coating is fully cured.
