A foam cannon is a specialized car washing tool designed to coat your vehicle with a thick layer of foamy soap. It connects to a standard pressure washer or hose, mixing car wash soap with water to produce a dense foam that clings to the surface, effectively loosening and lifting dirt, grime and other contaminants clinging to your vehicles paint. This method enhances the cleaning process while making car washing more efficient, safer and enjoyable.

For vehicles that are in new or like-new condition, follow these steps to use a foam cannon for a 'maintenance wash'. This process assumes your vehicle is regularly maintained with a coat of wax, sealant or ceramic coating.
Step 1: Mix your soap solution
Start by mixing your soap solution according to the directions provided with your foam cannon.
Step 2: Rinse the vehicle
Using your pressure washer, give your vehicle a thorough rinse to remove any loose dirt, dust, pollen and grime that is on the surface of the car.
Step 3: Attach your Foam cannon
Attach the foam cannon to your pressure washer. Ensure the foam cannon is firmly locked in and fully sealed.
Step 4: Apply foam to the vehicle
Starting from one side, hold the foam cannon a few feet away and cover the entire vehicle in a thick foam, if the foam isn’t coming out thick enough for your liking you may need to add more car wash soap or depending on the type of foam cannon you may have to adjust the orifice or fan blades of the foam cannon.
Step 5: Allow the foam to dwell
Let the foam sit on the vehicle for a few minutes. This allows the car wash soap to soften, loosen and dissolve any dirt, grime or other contaminants.
Step 6: Rinse the vehicle
Detach the foam cannon and rinse off all the foam with your pressure washer preferably using a nozzle attachment.

For a foam cannon or foam gun we recommend starting with 1-2 ounces of car wash soap with water for thick, effective foam. Adjust ratios based on foam thickness and water hardness. We also recommend reading the label on the bottle of car wash soap for their suggested dilution ratios.

A snow foam cannon will work with any pressure washer, with any PSI.
The only real difference is that the higher PSI you have, usually correlates with thicker & more effective foam. We usually recommend a PSI of around 2000 for your snow foam gun, but anything between 1000 - 4000 will work, just maybe not as good on the lower end of this.
Beyond foam cannons, we also provides a range of car wash and shampoos, waterless washes, ceramic coatings, spray coatings, washing and decontamination kits & more!
