Contrary to common beliefs, most damage done to automotive clear coat doesn't come from a flawed washing process; it's actually the drying process that poses the most risk of installing swirls, scratches, or towel marring on sensitive surfaces.
We approach drying as a process rather than a simple step in the wash regimen. In our process at Parks Detailing, not only do we aim to avoid touching the paint by utilizing our high-performance BLO drying systems, but we also avoid excessive wiping by sourcing microfiber that refuses to lint and is specifically designed with fibers to whisk standing water away without agitating the clear coat below. Don't risk your paint's luster and all the effort you just put into washing by skimping on quality microfiber, and don't spend any more effort than necessary by going without a dedicated automotive dryer.
